Quartz sand is non-metallic mineral raw material composed of quartz minerals whose main component is silicon dioxide (SiO2). It is normally categorized based on the SiO2 and Fe2O3 content into ordinary,refined and high-purity quartz sand. High-purity quartz sand has a higher SiO2  content compared to ordinary and refined quartz sand, with excellent chemical stability, high insulation resistance and low coefficient of thermal expansion. It is widely used in high-end fields such as semiconductors, optical communications, photovoltaic, optics, medical devices, electronic components, refractory materials and precision casting.

TARNILA Vaccum quartz sand analyzer is specifically designed for quartz sand composition analysis. It integrates XRF analysis technology with vacuum system. With advantages such as simple sample preparation, wide linear range, fast analysis speed, good reproducibility and high precision, it is capable of rapidly analyzing key components in quartz sand including Fe2O, Al2O, CaO, MgO, TiO2, MnO, P2O5 and K2O.
